I grew up in the northeast with a much milder climate. Every summer, I swear I cannot handle another summer in OKC. Ten years later, I’m still here because let’s face it, I love OKC even if I sweat my face off half of the year.
I also swear every summer this will be the year we get a pool to help survive the Oklahoma heat. (Spoiler alert: the only pool we have is a blow-up pool from Sam’s that my littles and I love). If you happen to be one of the lucky ones to have a pool around here, you’ve probably found yourself in an unlucky situation of needing repair on said pool. Or at least found yourself wishing you had the stereotypical pool boy to come skim those pesky bugs out of the water.
