We’re thrilled that you’re interested in sharing your thoughts, experiences, and creativity with our community! Whether you want to contribute written content or create engaging social media pieces like Reels or TikToks, we’d love to hear from you. Before you get started, please review the following guidelines to ensure your submission aligns with our values and audience.

General Submission Guidelines

1. Original Content: Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere.

2. Tone: Content should be authentic, relatable, and relevant to Oklahoma City families.

3. Respectful Communication: Submissions must not include profanity, sexual language, political endorsements, political commentary, op-eds on controversial topics, or inflammatory/derogatory language.

Written Content Guidelines

1. Word Count: Content should be between 400–800 words and carefully proofread for errors.

2. Photos: Include at least one original photo that complements your content. Horizontal images are preferred, and you may submit multiple options for us to select the best fit.

3. Author Bio: Provide a short bio (100 words or less) and a picture of yourself (or with your family) to include at the end of your piece.

Social Media Content Guidelines

1. Video Length: Reels and TikToks should be between 15–60 seconds and formatted for vertical viewing (9:16 aspect ratio).

2. Engaging Style: Content should be creative, fun, and relatable to OKC moms. Ideas include parenting hacks, local experiences, family-friendly activities, or lifestyle tips.

3. High-Quality Visuals: Videos should be well-lit, clear, and free from excessive background noise.

4. Branding Note: To maintain our cohesive branding, please do not include any text, captions, or graphics on your video submissions. There is a space on the submission form to specify any words or phrases you’d like us to add for you, and we’ll ensure they align with our brand style.

Important Notes

•Publication Timeline: We welcome all submissions but cannot guarantee every piece will be shared. Our editorial calendar and social media schedules are planned, so please consider this when submitting your ideas.

•Local Businesses: If you’re a business owner interested in reaching our audience, we’d love to discuss advertising options. We ask that contributors refrain from promoting businesses they have a financial affiliation within their submissions
