When the Oklahoma air starts to *hint* at the first signs of autumn, I become giddy with anticipation of that year’s Pumpkinville theme! Since 2017, I have taken my son to this incredible event at Myriad Gardens and every year I am AMAZED that it is even better than the last! Stunning displays of colorful pumpkins, delicious fall treats, family-friendly crafts and endless fun await you at the 11th Annual Pumpkinville at Myriad Gardens. Read through for my best tips to make the most of your visit to this magical event!
“This year’s Pumpkinville theme is Mythical Creatures, bringing to life a magical world of legendary beings. Giants, Ogres, and Trolls dominate the landscape, while Bigfoot and the elusive Yeti wander the forests. Gnomes, Fairies, Pixies, and Sprites add a sprinkle of magic, with Unicorns, Goblins, and Dragons embodying the essence of fantasy.”

TWO ways to get free admission: A tax-deductible family membership to Myriad Gardens boasts year-round benefits and unlimited free admission to Pumpkinville or you can volunteer (kids ages 14+ welcome with an adult) and earn 2 free tickets per 2.5 hour shift. Shifts are available September 27 – October 20.

Pumpkinville is Myriad Botanical Gardens largest annual festival and a beloved fall tradition for thousands of families. Part of what makes this our favorite fall family tradition in OKC is the amount of sheer genius creativity that goes into bringing the pumpkin displays to life! Every year I am truly amazed. MOM TIP: Wear your cutest matching tees for some adorable frameable family pictures!

Don’t Miss These Fun Events
One of our favorite parts of Pumpkinville is the fun crafts and classes! Each day, your kiddos can create a fun, hands-on craft to take home, enjoy a free story time at 2 p.m. as well as unlimited carousel rides–all included in the admission price.
For a little extra, you can enjoy:
Paint a Pumpkin | $5 per pumpkin
Educational Classes | Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m. ($8, registration required)
The extras are GREAT, but the free events are PLENTY to keep kids and kids-at-heart happy and engaged all day long! The entire Children’s Garden is turned into a magical wonderland of pumpkin fun and the unlimited carousel rides are a huge hit.
