OKC Family Farms to Visit This Spring with Kids
We love family farms in and around OKC. Get in the sunny spirit and head to the farm this spring for some family friendly fun! Several nearby farms are planning events and activities this season, perfect for local families wanting to get outside with kids and enjoy outdoor farm life.
The farms listed below are hosting spring events, and most are within a 30 minute drive, with one being just under an hour away (but worth it for baby goat snuggles and family farm fun)!
Orr Family Farm | Oklahoma City
Spring Season begins March 16th! Enjoy the farm with over 20 attractions from jumping pillows, barrel train, chicken show, pedal cars, ropes course, and more.

Mollie Spencer Farm | Yukon
The purpose of the Mollie Spencer Farm is to provide educational opportunities that promote animal well-being, support regional history, and celebrate a sense of community pride in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Special Events:
Spring Open House: Saturday April 1 | 9-11am – a self-guided tour and information stations
Easter on the Prairie: Saturday April 10 | 10am-2pm – egg hunts at 11am & 1pm
Chester’s Party Barn & Farm | Piedmont
Chester created a place where people could find wholesome family entertainment and space for people to connect with their families and our animals in order to make life-long memories.
Special Events:
Spring Break at the Farm: March 18 | 9am-1pm – includes pony rides, petting zoo, tractor rides, barnyard games, contest entries, and more!
Magnolias & Prayers: Everything Alpaca | Newcastle
Spring Alpaca Farm Days: May 13 & 14 (limited capacity) $8 per person; Kids 2 & under FREE! This event includes alpaca petting pens, children’s activities, food trucks, obstacles & games, and more.
Paige Farms Dairy Goats | Coyle
A small family farm in the heart of Oklahoma who uses their goats to make cheese, yogurt, lotion and soap.
Special Events:
Sip & Snuggle: Come cuddle the baby goats on 4 Saturdays in April from 12:00pm-4:00pm each day. Come an hour or stay all day, your choice. It’s fun for all ages!
$18 at the door
Kids 10 and under are free.
