BiBi's Craft Ice Cream

This spot is located inside Birra Birra Craft Pizzeria in Chisholm Creek, and you really can’t beat the combo of pizza and ice cream. We love it because after you grab your ice cream, you can head outside to the patio while the kids run around and play. They even have patio games like cornhole, making it a fun and easy family outing to beat the summer heat.

Mom Review: “Our family’s faves: Cookie Dough (mine) and Mint Chocolate Chip (my daughter’s)!”

Boom Town Creamery

With locations in Uptown, Edmond, and Moore, Boom Town Creamery’s small-batch, made-from-scratch ice cream is a must-try. If you’re craving creative flavors, this is the place for you. Choose from unique options like Breakfast Milk-a-licious, Cherry Goat, Salted Cowboy Cookie, and many more. Boom Town also offers ice cream stations for catering and pints to take home. They’re right when they say ice cream is always the answer.

Mom Review: “They have great non-dairy options!”

Roxy's Ice Cream Social

There are a few convenient Roxy’s locations to choose from, including the Plaza District, Midtown, Classen Curve, and Edmond. They offer cane sugar sodas, ice cream floats, sundaes, and delicious ice cream sandwiches. With a wide variety of flavors, there’s something for everyone, and they’re all seriously tasty!

Mom Review: “One of the best things about Roxy’s is that I can always count on my go-to flavor, a single scoop of salted caramel, or try something new with one of their monthly specials, which vary by location.”

Spark

This is a fun restaurant located in Scissortail Park, Chisolm Park, and Nichols Hills. They offer custard and shakes with a wide variety of toppings.

Mom Review: “This is such a fun location with great food and ice cream. While you are there, make sure to try the pink fries!”

Sugar Llamas

The cutest dessert bar featuring incredible mini donuts, ice cream, coffee, and more!

Mom Review: “They have amazing ice cream (and mini donuts, FYI). My husband, who doesn’t have a sweet tooth like me, is obsessed with their coffee ice cream!”

The Baked Bear

There are several locations to choose from, whether you’re in Yukon, Edmond, Midwest City, or Norman. Plus, they have a food truck! This ice cream shop is especially fun because they offer custom ice cream sandwiches. You can choose your preferred cookie—or mix and match two different cookies for the top and bottom—and then select your favorite ice cream flavor to create your own personalized sandwich!

Mom Pro Tip: “If you have trouble deciding, order the snickerdoodle cookies with cookie dough ice cream!”

Would this also be Oklahoma if I didn’t mention Braum’s? Located on most corners across the metro, it’s the perfect quick treat after soccer practice or just because on a Monday.

I hope this gives you some fun inspiration to celebrate sweet, sweet summertime. And don’t forget National Ice Cream Day every July! Any of these spots will definitely earn you some “fun mom” points with your kids. You can thank me later.
