Best Gyms with Childcare in the Metro + Tips & Pricing

When it comes to working out, it’s easy to find excuses. And you want to work out, you really do! But between busy schedules and finding a place where you actually feel comfortable leaving your kids for a little “you” time, the overwhelm can hit before you even walk through the gym doors.

At this stage of motherhood, I care about three things: convenience, community, and childcare. And as someone who works in the fitness space, I know not all gym childcare is created equal. So I pulled together a list of gyms around the OKC metro that moms actually use and trust. Whether you’re looking for a boutique studio, a community-centered gym, or a budget-friendly option, dependable childcare shouldn’t be another reason you don’t work out!

What to Expect: Pricing & Childcare

I’ve found that most OKC gyms that offer childcare fall into the below price ranges, with childcare being available during select times:

$ ($10–$40/month): Budget gyms and community centers (childcare included or low add-on)

$$ ($50–$70/month): Mid-range gyms with class-pack options (childcare included or low add-on)

$$$ ($100–$180+/month): Premium gyms with extensive amenities and add-ons (childcare included or low add-on)

Boutique & Community Gyms with a Mom-Focused Feel: These are the gyms where you’ll find more personalized coaching, smaller classes, and strong community vibes, along with childcare options that make them realistic for moms.

Mustang

Mustang Parks and Recreation $

If you don’t know already, the Mustang Rec Center is kind of a hidden gem. They offer way more variety than you’d expect, with everything from HIIT and strength classes to sculpt and dance formats. Falling under $30/month with childcare included, this no-frills facility is perfect for families! One of my favorite things about the Rec Center is that it’s connected to the Mustang Library, so you can knock out a workout and head straight to Mother Goose Time with your littles.

Yukon

Arize Training Club (formerly FitCamp 180) $$$

Arize is one of those places where you forget you’re working out because you’re having an actual blast. The lights are dim, the coaches are loud, and everyone is cheering each other on. The workouts are efficient and intentional, so you can get in and get out. Childcare is available during select class times for just $10/month.

OKC

Fit Report $$$

If you’re someone who likes to train hard and really challenge yourself, the ladies behind Fit Report have built an extremely loyal community for this very reason. Their performance-based workouts are tough in the best way, and the energy in the room is what gets you to the finish line. After class take a dip in the cold plunge or take some “you” time in the sauna for a low additional cost. Kidcare is just a $5 add-on.

The Sweat Society $$$

The Sweat Society is a great option if you prefer a mix of cycle, strength, and training formats. It’s a one-stop shop, so you’re not paying for multiple memberships, and the community vibe is strong without feeling intimidating. Their first-time member deals and $5 drop-in childcare make boutique fitness more doable price-wise.

Norman

Norman Health Club $

The Norman Health Club has been around forever and is deeply ingrained in the community. Between group fitness classes, strength equipment, aquatics, and childcare, it can really check all the boxes for families.

Metro-Wide

FIT4MOM OKC $$

FIT4MOM is probably one of the best ways to build your mom community. With pop-up classes all over the metro, their stroller-friendly workouts are designed with moms in mind. So bring your babes and come find your mom gang.

Box Gyms with Reliable Childcare

I know a box gym isn’t for everyone, but these gyms offer more flexibility, multiple locations, and budget-friendly memberships, making them a go-to for many OKC moms. Don’t sleep on the community these gyms are building!

Crunch Fitness $

Between the affordable memberships, huge class offerings, multiple locations, and structured childcare rooms, it’s easy to see why so many moms choose Crunch. The extra amenities like red light therapy, tanning, and saunas make it feel a little more premium than your average budget gym.

Four Star Fitness $

Four Star has more of that old-school neighborhood gym feel. It’s locally owned, laid-back, and includes childcare in its low monthly cost. Not as many extras as other box gyms, but still a solid place to get your workout in while your kids are cared for nearby.

VASA Fitness Oklahoma City $

VASA is one of the better options if you want a larger gym experience without the high price tag. The facilities are big, there’s a lot of variety in equipment and classes, and childcare is available at select locations. For moms wanting affordability without feeling limited, it’s a great option.

YMCA (Multiple Metro Locations) $$

The YMCA is one of the few places where the whole family can benefit from the membership. Between childcare, camps, sports programs, and indoor pools at select locations, a Y membership is hard to beat, especially if you have kids in different stages.

Life Time Oklahoma City $$$

Life Time is definitely more of a splurge, but if you’re looking for a gym that feels like a mini escape, this is it. The childcare and kids programming are extensive, the amenities are amazing, and the entire experience feels more elevated and spa-like than your typical box gym.

First Class Free?

Most of the places on my roundup let you try your first class for free or at a very discounted rate! So be sure to ask for freebies and discounts and try them all out. Your place, your people . . . they’re out there.
