4th of July Fireworks & Celebrations in the OKC Metro

If there’s one thing I’ve learned since moving to Oklahoma over a decade ago, it’s that Oklahomans sure know how to celebrate the 4th of July. The food, festivals, music, and fireworks in every direction you look make this time of year magical.

And this year is even more reason to celebrate because it’s America’s 250th birthday! With so much going on around the metro, be sure to check back frequently as events are added!

OKC Mom 4th of July Tips

BE PREPARED: Make sure to have bug spray, baby wipes, sunscreen, water, blankets, snacks, and anything else kiddos might need when you and the family are out on an adventure.

EAR PROTECTION: You never know if your child will be sensitive to the sounds of fireworks or love them. So just in case, grab a bag of earplugs or some noise cancelling headphones from the store and put them in your bag. It eases everyone’s stress level when we can just pop a plug in!

REMEMBER YOUR FUR BABIES: Ask any animal shelter and they will all tell you July 4th is their busiest time of year. Doggies get super freaked by fireworks, so make sure to protect your pups this time of year.
