Backpack to Scool Bash

The Backpack to School Bash is a free, family-friendly community event hosted by Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church in South Oklahoma City. The event provides approximately 1,700 students with free backpacks filled with school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. Families can enjoy free meals, bottled water, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce houses, games, a bubble pond, an art tent, and live entertainment. Children also have the opportunity to explore emergency vehicles from OKC Police, OKC Fire Department, and EMSA. This trilingual (English, Spanish & American Sign Language) event is designed to support local families while creating a fun and welcoming community experience.
