Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies and Festivals OKCOklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival | Downtown OKC

This FREE tree lighting festival will take place in Bricktown, and the tree will be lit at approximately 7pm.
Thursday, November 16th | 5:30-7:30pm
Mickey Mantle Plaza of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

Other activities include photos and letters with Santa, face painting, a Magic Elf, and more. The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by David Holt.


Tree Lighting Ceremony | Edmond, OK

November 25th (Saturday after Thanksgiving) | 3-5pm
Centennial Plaza – 5th Ave. N. & Bell St. in Edmond

Come for the treats, singing carols and a magical visit from Santa.  In the spirit of giving and community, check out the organizations gathering supplies and bring donations to support them!


Andrews Park Community Tree Lighting | Norman, OK

December 8th | 5:30pm
Andrews Park | 201 W. Daws Norman, OK

Enjoy this FREE event with holiday music, sip on hot cocoa, and witness the annual lighting ceremony with the whole family. Festivities will continue at the Norman Public Library with crafts, story time, treats, entertainment, and photos with Santa!


Guthrie Lighted Christmas Parade | Guthrie, OK

November 25th | 6pm
Scottish Rite Temple | 900 E Oklahoma Ave, Guthrie, OK

Following the Opening Day festivities, this nighttime parade kicks off at 6:00 p.m. from the Scottish Rite Temple. From there the glittering promenade of illuminated cars, trucks, dune buggies and even be-lighted people head west along Oklahoma Avenue.

Following the Governor Ceremonies, we will light Guthrie’s own version of a Christmas Tree, and the towering face of the State Capital Publishing Museum will shine over downtown Guthrie this year!
