Children’s Day Out is designed for children twelve months through four years old (or 5 if not in Kindergarten) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children age 12 months-3 years may attend 1, 2, or all 3 days (do not have to be toilet trained). Children ages 3 (by Sept. 1) – 5 years, must be enrolled for 3 days a week (must be toilet trained). They use a Bible based Early Childhood Curriculum called WEE (Weekday Early Education) Learn. Southern Hills Christian Church CDC serves children age 6 months through pre-kindergarten during the school year. An 8 week summer session is available to children ages 6 months through the completion of second grade. Children are placed in age appropriate classes based on their birth date and development. They are open Mon-Fri from 9:30am-2:30pm and offer an extended day until 3:15 for an additional $5.00 per day.

This 2 day a week Mother’s Day Out program operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am – 2:30pm from September to May following the Edmond Public Schools holiday calendar.
Children have indoor and outdoor free play time, daily all-school chapel time, a daily Bible lesson and age appropriate preschool lessons that include hands on learning, beginning concepts, literature, and music. Classes are offered for children 6 months old through pre-kindergarten. Each class has 2 teachers. The teachers in our pre-k classes are certified teachers.
