Life Christian Academy is a dayschool for grades PreK-12th as well as a preschool/daycare. The cirriculum is non-denominational.

Edmond Christian Academy offers Pre-School, K4 & K5 (half day), and Pre-School thru 12 (full day). Active participation in a local church body is a prerequisite for ECA enrollment. ECA’s school week is Monday-Thursday, 8:30-3:30 with a 15-minute chapel session.
The Stepping Stones Mother’s Day Out program at Waterloo Church of the Nazarene is for children 12months-5yrs old and run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-2:30. The number of days per week you can enroll in is flexible. Gymboree music and Dance comes to their center every other Thursday. Call for a tour.
Parent’s Day Out (Mother’s Day Out) is offered to children ages 6 months through kindergarten, using the WEE Learn Curriculum published by LifeWay Christian Resources. Sonshine School has 10 classes ranging from ages six months to half-day Pre-School. The classes each have two teachers. Special consideration is given to teacher/student ratio for every age level and have age-appropriate pre-school activities which may include cooking, literature, music and their own curriculum. Lessons incorporate Bible stories that teach morals and wholesome living. For more information, call to speak to a director. The office is open during Sonshine School hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Messages can be left in their office on other days.
First Christian Church offers care Monday through Friday from 6:45am to 6:00pm for children 6 weeks of age through the completion of fifth grade. They offer transportation to area public and private schools at no additional charge, house an Edmond Public Schools Pre-K classroom, and offer Private full-day kindergarten as well with a certified teacher utilizing the A Beka curriculum. First Christian Church Child Care Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC).
This 2 day a week Mother’s Day Out program operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am – 2:30pm from September to May following the Edmond Public Schools holiday calendar.
Children have indoor and outdoor free play time, daily all-school chapel time, a daily Bible lesson and age appropriate preschool lessons that include hands on learning, beginning concepts, literature, and music. The Early Childhood Program at Quail Springs UMC serves families with children ages 2 months through four years old. Their mission is to provide children with a fun, safe, and loving environment that develops spiritual, academic, social and physical skills. Military Mommies is a division of Barber DME Medical Supply, a veteran-owned and operated company, that exclusively works with Tricare members to assist them in obtaining their pregnancy and postpartum related medical supplies. We want to support our military families by providing personal assistance from a locally trained expert, free breast pump consultations and providing referrals to local resources and support. Local partners have demo pumps on hand so patients can see the pump, turn it on, listen to it, and see exactly how they work.
We currently offer the following medical supply items:
Breast pumps– We carry Medela, Ameda, Ardo, Unimom, Lansinoh, Motif, and Spectra brands. Most of the breast pumps we stock come with a tote bag. Some of them also include a cooler bag, freezer pack, and storage bottles. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider once they are at least 27 weeks along in their pregnancy. Tricare covers most breast pumps at 100% for ALL beneficiaries. We also provide milk storage bags monthly or as needed with no additional prescription required.
Pregnancy Support Band– We carry the Embracing Belly Boostier. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy if they are experiencing lower back pain. Your local representative trained to take measurements for proper sizing or give measurement guidance.
Postpartum Care System– We carry the Mama Strut and Motif Postpartum Systems. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy. However, we do not recommend measuring and placing the order until 32-34 weeks along in your pregnancy to assure proper sizing.
Compression Stockings- We carry Medi brand compression stockings. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy. Your local representative is trained to take measurements for proper sizing or give measurement guidance.
Positioning pillow– We carry pregnancy pillows too! Be sure that you mark the box for a “positioning pillow” and the provided diagnosis code on the prescription form.
