This Free Museum not only outlines the history of Edmond, but it also has a Children’s Learning Center with play houses in a miniature 1880’s town, toddler growing garden, dress-up corner, and an activity center with blocks, magnets, and transportation toys.
First Presbyterian Church of Edmond offers classes for Preschool 3’s and Pre-Kindergarten. Children can attend Preschool 3’s 2-3 days per week. Children must be potty trained. Children can attend Pre-Kindergarten classes 3-5 days per week. All classes are from 9:05-11:45am with optional afternoon enrichment on Monday through Thursday afternoons. The five day per week class is reserved for older Pre-K children. To enroll in this class, children must turn five years old prior to April 1, 2018. Military Mommies is a division of Barber DME Medical Supply, a veteran-owned and operated company, that exclusively works with Tricare members to assist them in obtaining their pregnancy and postpartum related medical supplies. We want to support our military families by providing personal assistance from a locally trained expert, free breast pump consultations and providing referrals to local resources and support. Local partners have demo pumps on hand so patients can see the pump, turn it on, listen to it, and see exactly how they work.
We currently offer the following medical supply items:
Breast pumps– We carry Medela, Ameda, Ardo, Unimom, Lansinoh, Motif, and Spectra brands. Most of the breast pumps we stock come with a tote bag. Some of them also include a cooler bag, freezer pack, and storage bottles. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider once they are at least 27 weeks along in their pregnancy. Tricare covers most breast pumps at 100% for ALL beneficiaries. We also provide milk storage bags monthly or as needed with no additional prescription required.
Pregnancy Support Band– We carry the Embracing Belly Boostier. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy if they are experiencing lower back pain. Your local representative trained to take measurements for proper sizing or give measurement guidance.
Postpartum Care System– We carry the Mama Strut and Motif Postpartum Systems. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy. However, we do not recommend measuring and placing the order until 32-34 weeks along in your pregnancy to assure proper sizing.
Compression Stockings- We carry Medi brand compression stockings. Tricare members can have our prescription form signed by their provider at any time during their pregnancy. Your local representative is trained to take measurements for proper sizing or give measurement guidance.
Positioning pillow– We carry pregnancy pillows too! Be sure that you mark the box for a “positioning pillow” and the provided diagnosis code on the prescription form.

Parent’s Day Out (Mother’s Day Out) is offered to children ages 6 months through kindergarten, using the WEE Learn Curriculum published by LifeWay Christian Resources. First Christian Church offers care Monday through Friday from 6:45am to 6:00pm for children 6 weeks of age through the completion of fifth grade. They offer transportation to area public and private schools at no additional charge, house an Edmond Public Schools Pre-K classroom, and offer Private full-day kindergarten as well with a certified teacher utilizing the A Beka curriculum.
