Tone Up Your Mom Bod with The Body Barre

This is a sponsored post for The Body Barre but all opinions are my own.

If you’re looking for a fun place to gather with your mom friends and get a great workout in Edmond, you NEED to check out The Body Barre!

The Body Barre offers a variety of classes, including barre, yoga, dancewerk, and more! The classes are led by well-trained instructors who are able to give you several modifications, depending on what fitness level you’re at, and to accommodate any injuries you may have. You don’t need to be a workout expert to attend a class at this studio!

I did barre for many years prior to having kids, but this was my first class (and workout) in a few months. I was definitely feeling the burn and I had to stop and shake it out several times, but I never felt like I wasn’t enjoying myself! The class sizes are relatively small, so the instructors are able to go around and help individuals correct their form and provide advice on how to modify to meet your individual needs.

The studio provided everything that I needed for my class! All I brought was my own water bottle and, if I wanted, a pair of socks specifically designed for barre classes. You are more than welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you desire, but they do have both thick and thin yoga mats available for you to use.

One thing I loved about The Body Barre is that they had a variety of options to fit every mom’s lifestyle. You can sign up for an unlimited membership, and if you have the time to attend 3 times a week, this ends up only being a few dollars per class. If you’re like me and your schedule is erratic, and you never know when you’ll have time for a class, you can just sign up online and pay one class at a time.

The facility also offers supervised childcare for popular class times and can be booked online with your class. The childcare space was completely walled in so you won’t have to worry about your little ones running after you or seeing you while you’re in class in the next room!

I highly recommend checking out The Body Barre for your next workout! Your first class is free, so there’s nothing to lose by trying it out. Brace yourself though, because the leg quakes are real!
