Family-Friendly Summer Festivals & Concerts In & Around OKC

In the spirit of sweet sweet summertime, we have compiled a list of all the best Summer Festivals and Concerts! There are so many old favorites that are back this year, along with some brand new ones to check out! This does not include 4th of July activities – that is a whole other resource for another day!

Edmond

Vibes

First Thursday of the month, from April through October from 6-9pm. Enjoy downtown Edmond eateries and artistic performances on this monthly art walk!

Free Concerts in the Park 

Thursdays from 6:15 – 9:00 pm, May 20 – August 12. Concerts at Hafer Park Stage – bring your own blankets and lawn chairs!

Heard on Hurd

Monthly street festival in downtown Edmond, March – October of 2023! Additional scheduling information will become available in the coming weeks, but amazing food trucks are always involved! Check their website for updated information.


Guthrie

Red Brick Nights

Monthly, family-friendly street festival occurring every first Saturday from May through September. The event is from 5-10 p.m. at the corner of Wentz and Oklahoma in Downtown Guthrie with rotating live music, food trucks, and pop-up shops for the whole community! There is typically also a fireworks show around the 4th of July!


Oklahoma City

Live from the Lawn at Scissortail Park

Free concert series beginning in May and ending in October. View the full schedule on their website here. 

An Affair of the Heart

June 9 – 11, from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday. Oklahoma’s largest boutique show and gourmet market! Tickets are $10 for all 3 days, and ages 12 and under are free.

Children’s Gardening Fair at Myriad Gardens

June 3-4, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm daily. Children can explore different aspects of gardening through interactive stations designed for immersive learning and play, as well as activities and take-home crafts specifically designed to get their hands dirty and their brains whirring. Enjoy food vendors, face painting, the Thunder Fountain, and free rides on Mo’s Carousel (with admission).

Summer Music Series at Riversport

Saturdays at Rotary Point, from April to September from 2-5:00 pm. Free live music each Saturday afternoon beginning April 29. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy laid-back tunes and local artists from the shores of the Oklahoma River. Includes live music, craft beer and cocktails, and outdoor fun!

Sunday Twilight Concert Series

Sundays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm, schedule to be updated soon with performances for 2023! View their website for the performance schedule!

Juneteenth on the East

June 19, all-day event on NE 23rd St. Family-friendly celebration featuring live music, dance, mural painting, spoken word performances, food trucks, and vendors.

Oklahoma City Pride Festival

June 23 – 25, times vary! Celebration of OKC’s LGBTQ community! Festival takes place at Scissortail Park, with a parade through the Arts District on June 25.


Moore

Summer Beats & Eats

June 2, 6-9pm. Kick off summer featuring Local Brewery, Winery, Food Trucks, Mini Market, and Live Music.  Plus inflatables and lawn games for the kids and adults to enjoy.


Norman

Jazz in June

June 15 – 17, from 6:30 – 10:00 pm. 40th Anniversary festival with top notch artists, food trucks, and drinks!


Yukon

Free Concerts in the Park

Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, June – August. Concerts in Chisholm Trail Park – bring your own blankets and lawn chairs! Concessions available for purchase.
