Fiestas de las Américas

Nominated for best festival in Oklahoma City, Fiestas de las Americas is the largest Latino festival in the Oklahoma City metro. This day-long celebration kicks off with the lively Parade of the Americas which then opens up SW 25th St for a fun day of shopping, eating, entertainment, and community.


Plaza District Festival

Oklahoma Folklife Festival

October 5, 2024

The Folklife Festival, a community-wide event, will celebrate and recognize what the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress has called “the everyday and intimate creativity that all of us share and pass on to the next generation.” This “creativity” will be represented at the Oklahoma Folklife Festival through dancing, singing, crafts, food, and more.


Oklahoma Czech Festival

October 5, 2024
8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The first weekend in October marks the Oklahoma Czech Festival, a Yukon tradition celebrating the town’s rich Czech heritage. Festivities begin Friday evening with a carnival in downtown Yukon. Sample delightful Czech foods including koláče and klobasy sausages. Shop dozens of arts and crafts booths and festival food vendors.


Oklahoma Regatta Festival

If you’ve never been out to Riversport OKC, you should definitely go to check out the Oklahoma Regatta Festival. It’s quite impressive to have these unique watersports right in the neighborhood. The three-day event includes RIVERSPORT Rowing, Rafting and Dragon Boat League Championships. Not to mention great food, family fun, and fireworks to cap off racing.


Red Earth FallFest

October 19, 2024
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Red Earth FallFest will celebrate Oklahoma City Indigenous People’s Day with an Arts & Crafts market and Youth Powwow at the Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy the day of family-friendly activities.


Stockyards Stampede

Located in the historic Stockyards City district, Stockyards Stampede features a procession of longhorns, chuckwagon cooking, and live music. The festival starts with longhorns beginning at the iconic National Stockyards archway. Afterwards, sample cobbler, stew, cornbread, and more while shopping locally-made wares from the Made in Oklahoma Market.


OKC Festival de Vida y Muerte – Dia de Muertos

The Festival de Vida y Muerte (Life and Death) celebrates the Mexican holiday known as Day of the Dead. Families celebrate and honor their loved ones who have passed away by creating ofrendas, which include family photos, flowers, and their loved ones’ favorite things. Ofrenda translates to mean “offering” in English. The festival features community ofrendas, traditional dancing, food, music, and more.
