Nearly two years ago, a raging global pandemic brought all family travel to a screeching halt. Now I find myself longing to make up for lost time. Everything in me is screaming, “See the sights! Do the things! Eat the foods!”  Our family bucket list has grown to about seven miles long, but first up: a Disney trip. It’s been five years since we last saw Mickey, and our youngest has never seen the beloved mouse. In the age of COVID, though, the thought of planning ANY kind of Disney trip was daunting, to say the least.

Enter Vincent Vacations. We opted to book with a travel agent to alleviate some of the stress of planning and keeping up with COVID travel requirements, and WOW. I am so glad we did. Lia and Linze took care of all of our payments, notified us immediately whenever COVID travel requirements changed so we could make informed decisions, and offered recommendations of all the best things to do. We are literally counting down the days to our trip, and are so grateful for the completely stress-free planning process.

Why would you need a travel agent for Disney?

  • It can actually save you money! Vincent Vacations charges absolutely NO extra costs in booking your Disney vacation, and they know Disney’s available deals at any given moment. When Disney releases a new promotion, Vincent agents can even go back and apply that promotion to your trip (assuming you haven’t traveled yet, of course).
  • Convenience! All those little details that are a hassle to take care of? Vincent Vacations does that for you. Airport transfers, park hopping passes, dining plans…not for you to worry about! All you have to do is pack your suitcase. And possibly your kids’ and spouse’s suitcases, too.
  • Don’t miss a thing! Whatever your family’s hopes and dreams, Vincent Vacations can make it happen for you! As OKC’s only storefront “Earmarked” Disney travel agency, Vincent agents travel to the parks and cruise lines regularly, and know aaalllll the best things to see and do. They can truly give you the best possible advice to make your vacation as full of Disney magic as possible. Everything you ever wanted to know about Disney? They can tell you, and spare you the rabbit hole of internet Disney traveler sites.

What’s different about Disney right now?

Short answer: not much! Masks are required indoors in the Disney parks, but are no longer required outdoors. Disney has the ability to reduce capacity as needed for guest safety, but there are no capacity limits currently. Character visits might look a little different – with a bit more distance between the kiddo and character – but all your favorites are still visible! Characters pop up in cavalcades throughout the day, as well as locations around the park where you can interact with them socially-distanced style! *Note: Disney destinations outside of the continental US may have different travel requirements.

Whenever you’re thinking about booking a trip to Disney, reach out to Vincent Vacations first! There are incredible, family-friendly events happening all year long – let the experts tell you the best time to go! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is happening now, and there are 50th Anniversary activities planned for the next 18 months! For an adults-only Disney trip (yes, people really do this!), don’t miss Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival running from August-November each year.

Don’t necessarily want to go to the Disney parks, but don’t want to give up Disney-level customer service? Did you know that Disney offers more?? Disney also has resorts on Oahu, Hilton Head Island, and the Disney Cruise line leaves from ports all over the world! Not only that, but Adventures by Disney offers 40+ guided, curated small group vacations on all 7 continents.

Vincent agents can help you book any of these vacations – and more! I’m sensing a lifelong travel agent relationship. Ready to plan your next trip? Stacy grew up in Minnesota, but spent the next several years of her life traversing the globe, temporarily setting down roots anywhere and everywhere. Stacy is extremely passionate about the world of adoption and foster care, having spent a year in Uganda adopting her oldest daughter in 2008. Stacy married her husband Jesse in 2011, and they moved to Oklahoma City to grow their family. After a brief hiatus in Minnesota, Stacy and her beloved family of five returned to Oklahoma City in June of 2017. They are thrilled to be back "home" where sweet tea flows like water and they can fully embrace saying "Y'all". Stacy obtained a Master’s degree in child psychology in 2007, but currently uses it only on her own children! A stay-at-home mama since Baby #3 was born, Stacy has stayed busy keeping her children alive and relatively entertained. She loves her little crazy crew fiercely and is enjoying returning to all of their favorite local haunts. When she’s not chasing her kiddos, Stacy is likely traveling or daydreaming about traveling. She also enjoys coffee shops, copious amounts of “cop drama” shows, and perusing pinterest for ideas that have little chance of ever getting done. But they’re good to have. Just in case.
