Celebrating Halloween at Home

One of my favorite things to do each holiday is to create a celebration table for my kids! It is such a fun and festive way to celebrate each holiday at home! I usually set this up sometime before Halloween and then we have a little party at home.

Below I have listed the items I used to create this Halloween celebration table this year.

Balloon garland: I bought the balloons at Hobby Lobby and attached them using a balloon garland strip, also sold at Hobby Lobby right next to the balloons.

Banner: I found this at HomeGoods! They always have fun and festive party decor for a good price! Check out your local HomeGoods to see what they have!

Table Runner: This is actually wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby that I folded in half.

Honeycomb pumpkins: These are from target!

Ghost plates and napkins: These are from my favorite party supplier, My Minds Eye.

Large pink plates: These are from My Minds Eye, last year.

Witch hats: Another HomeGoods find!

Table and chairs: This is the Melissa and Doug table and we love it! We have used it for years.

I also create “Boo Baskets” which are just fun little gifts for them to open up. I usually just find things at the dollar spot at Target. This year I did matching Halloween jammies, a cup, some silly straws, socks, bubbles, and some Halloween books.

Next, we have a fun Halloween lunch! In the past, I have made ghosts out of cheese sticks, spiders out of PB&J, and mummies out of applesauce pouches. But today I did something different!

I cut out PB&J with a pumpkin cookie cutter and then I added a fun pumpkin peep to make it more festive! Finley loved using her new cup and this fun Halloween straw in her yogurt!

We then did craft time while baby brother took a nap. These crafts were $5 each at Target! They were so fun and kept her busy for a while! We got the Mondo Llama brand picture frames and stick characters!

To complete our festive day we put on our Halloween jammies, baked cookies, and watched a Halloween movie!

The kids loved this day spent at home! And I loved that it kept them busy the whole day! I hope this gives you some inspiration for a fun Halloween party at home!
