4th of July Fireworks & Celebrations | In & Around OKC Metro


It’s hard to believe it’s already almost time to celebrate the RED WHITE & BLUE with food, friends & fireworks! If you’re from Oklahoma, then you know we know how to party! So pull out your sparklers and red, white, and blue and get ready to go all out this year – you will have a full weekend of Independence Day options around the Metro where you can take your families to celebrate the 4th of July!

Edmond

LibertyFest – Our very own Libertyfest has been rated one of the Top 10 places to be on the 4th of July by both CNN and USA Today! This year fireworks will sound off at 9:30pm on Tuesday, July 4th in Hafer Park (1034 S Bryant)


Oklahoma City

Red, White and Boom – Monday, July 3, head down to Scissortail Park for an outdoor concert by the OKC Philharmonic. Bring blankets and a picnic basket, and listen to all your favorite patriotic songs. Also enjoy the fireworks as they light up the OKC skyline!


Yukon

Freedom Fest – Yukon offers a two-day Independence Day celebration, Monday, July 3rd, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Chisholm Trail Park (500 W Vandament) and City Park (2200 S Holly Ave). Events include live concerts, kids’ activities, food trucks, contests, and giant fireworks shows!

Moore

Celebration in the Heartland – Tuesday, July 4th at Buck Thomas Park come celebrate with food trucks, vendors, and a fireworks show at dark! 2:00-10:00PM (1903 NE 12th St)


Norman

Norman’s 4th Fest – On July 4, there will be yard games for families, food trucks,  live music by Hook and the Vinyl Stripes, and 21+ may enjoy sips from local breweries! Activities begin at 5pm! Reaves Park (2501 Jenkins Ave)


Midwest City

Tribute to Liberty – Tuesday, July 4th Tribute to Liberty will again feature family-friendly fun, food trucks, live music and fireworks from 7-10PM at the Rotary Pavillion/Spirit Playground (8601-8653 E Reno Ave)


Piedmont

Piedmont Patriotic Country Fair – Beginning at 5:00 pm, celebrate in Piedmont! The City of Piedmont presents Freedom Fest. Activities include inflatables, food trucks, pony rides, parade, free watermelon, and more! Fireworks follow after dark!
